  1. Have the Z6 and use the Tamron 17-35 f2.8/f4 and it is a great low weight and low cost setup. Yes it uses the FTZ adapter but getting great images and good footage as well.

  2. NIKON, A burned PCB card and the 1-year warranty!
    With great regret and truly desperate I am writing to find a solution to the problem with my Nikon Coolpix W300. I would like my letter to be sent to Nikon's headquarters in Japan. And finally, I get a serious and definitive answer.
    My Nikon Coolpix W300 camera broke down at a very precise time with a burned central card, main PCB card as told by the service. The camera worked around 40 times a year, that is, every 10 to 15 days I shot underwater.
    I bought the Nikon Coolpix W300 on 2/4/18 and found the problem on 5/4/19. Three days after the expiration of the warranty. The Greek service does not recognize a one-day guarantee in addition to the warranty and requests 160+ Euros for the change + + + 200 € check.
    The camera did not get water according to the service. The answer was that we do not know what the main PCB was burning. Water could not get because the lubrication of the door was done diligently and with a very special grease.
    Its last operation was 16/3/19, 18 days before the warranty expired on 2/4/19 and the problem was found 3 days later on 5/4/19.
    Unimaginable behavior for a great name like NIKON. At your disposal all the history of Nikon Coolpix W300.
    I'm in despair I do not know what to do. I have a solution to my problem.
    For just 3 days I fly out of the warranty; That is, the camera lived only 1 year;

  3. The comments about the XQD might be misplaced, within a year or next update other brands will need to move to the more reliable much faster CFExpress to stay competitive. Rumor has it that since the card is so fast, and up to 1 terabyte capacity, Nikon will have another firmware update that adds ProRes Raw internal 12 bit,. The hardware it present but they just need the CF Express card speed and capacity. But for anyone needing RAW, they will surely need a larger monitor also.
    XQD was designed to overcome the poor reliability and speed of SD which was never intended for anything other than very low cost consumer products. They have no error correction or error detection and a crude interface that is similar to the old floppy disk dumb interface while the XQD and CF Express uses the much more advanced fault tolerant PCIe+ interface used on the newest SSD drives. The 1700mb/s data rates is not bad either;>) The next question is, when is 14 bit raw going to be added in firmware? The hardware is there.
    I do not think any camera using SD can be considered pro grade, and I am very pleased that XQD and CFExpress cards are used in the Z cameras. Even Sony reserves the XQD for their pro video cameras, 1 slot. The MTBF rating of XQD is an order of magnitude higher than 2 SD. We have all had SD card corrupt but millions of XQD cards have been made and failures or r/w errors are extremely rare. There are a lot of design elements of the Z cameras that make their long term investment really solid, because they are essentially future proof and adding features will be possible for a long time due to those design choices not to cheap out like the Sony designs that use just enough hardware to handle current model needs and assure users will replace it with a new version each time one is released every 14 months or so. Most a7 users are on their 3rd body in 4 years.

  4. THANK YOU, MATTI! I was waiting for this review for months on your channel! 🙂 I bought the Z6 (in China, where I live) in December, the Moza Air 2 in January, and the Ninja V in March (this one because you convinced me :p). It's funny that Nikon put the same stuff to its big box that I bought time to time separately. 🙂 After your review, and of course, using the camera continuously, I still feel that I made the best possible buyer choice in this actual market with the Z6. Thank you again! 🙂 (y)

  5. hello great video again … thanks for sharing your knowledge with us..! PLEASE if you got a minute give me your help… I'm watching your videos and they are very smooth on moving. My videos are choppes and looks like break to frames..! this happends with canon 70 D on 25 fps .. and Canon G9x mark ii .. on 30 or 60 fps ( before or after the video editing happen the same ) …!!! Can you tell me what is wrong ..? thank you very much for your time ..!

  6. Wolfcrow did a review on this camera. He had a lot of things to say about it. Most of it not great, but the review was very good. It's good to hear a different perspective especially for a first time Nikon user. Have to decide now which camera I want.
